Going Full Time!
by
Well after all these years, I have finally scored a full-time, 9-5, salary-with-benefits job! ::thunderous applause:: As of May 20th, I am now officially an Interactive Coordinator at Ignite Healthcare Communications. It's an entry-level job, but hey, I'm glad to be there and help out with everything. I got my first paycheck yesterday, and boy does it feel good to have money flowing again. This means of course that all the free time I had to put into websites and other miscellaneous activities has all but dwindled to the evening hours and weekends.
Calculus II is over, and I escaped with another A, bringing my GPA up to 3.8. But I'm not done yet. Calculus III awaits me in the Fall, as well as a possible programming class that I can take with me to the next level.
I'm also playing for A Chorus Line, which opened June 1st and will close on the 30th. Yep, a whole month of theatre fun. >.< At least we're not doing Carrie, the Musical, but we still have a benefit show to put on after that.
I'm not the only one with a new job, my wonderful Miss Kimi scored a job at Disneyland, working at the new Innoventions location, so those of you going to DL may see her. So now we're both workers. Unfortunately that means less quality time for us as a couple, but we'll manage somehow.
