Digging Through the Archives

by Joey Kincer

Well now, thanks to one of my co-workers, I discovered the treasures of archive.org, and found that a lot of my old OLD website pages were still lurking around, including some of my old Current Events blurbs. I took advantage of this and salvaged all the ones I could find, including my own personal back-ups. You'll see I have some entries dating back to 1999. Oh, what nostalgia. Obviously I don't have them all, but some is better than none! Feel free to check 'em out if you've been around that long.

So what does May bring? How about a new Apple laptop? I'm taking one of my friends Miss Hazel to the Apple Store, and while she gets herself a new eMac, I will be picking up a 12" Powerbook G4. It's about time I bought a brand new Mac for myself. You wouldn't believe how wishy-washy I was the past 2 weeks in even deciding to purchase one.

Also been trying to party a bit and be a little more social the past few weeks, with some optimal results. Work has no doubt been more stressful that usual. We're expanding, so much in fact that we're moving our office in August to a huge 10,000 ft² building, about 10 miles north to Irvine, CA. So much for my 3-minute commute!

The Saturn Red Line ION that I was looking at is manual transmission only. Since I'm not a stick boy, I'll have to pass, unfortunately. I don't know what's wrong with me but I'm kind of looking at a Honda (OH NO, an IMPORT) Accord V6 Hybrid for 2005. It's all about the gas mileage sometimes. I still have plenty of time before I make a final decision.

Wow, this is quite a long entry. I should do more of these more often. I would if my life wasn't so boring! :) See you in June.
