Time for a Reunion

Time for a Reunion

by Joey Kincer

My latest monthly endeavour comes a few days late, as I realize the months are accelerating by faster than I can think of something witty to write.

The workflow continues to increase at a very rapid pace. We now have about 60 employees at work. That's quite a jump from the 25 when I started working there in May 2002. And we are STILL hiring. Crazy talk.

Fall is here, and I can tell it's already getting colder. I had my 10-year high school reunion in Costa Mesa, CA on October 1st, and saw a lot of familiar faces, some as far back as the 4th grade. So weird.

Plans are already being made for next year's summer trip, and no it won't be a road trip (this time). I'm arranging to go to Alaska and Hawaii for 9-12 days, depending on what I feel I can get done. Then I can officially say I've been in all 50 states. Rockin'.

My spending has been on the uptick the past 30 days. I blew a wad of cash on some new digs from Banana Republic (thanks to help from Miss Ashli, who has no concept of what my budget was supposed to be ^_^) but I can let myself splurge once in a while.

It only gets colder and darker from here (at least on the north side of the planet). Have a safe Halloween.
