Ladders to Climb

Half the year, gone away.
June was pretty good. At work, I was given my 4th raise in as many years. With my piano-playing at church, combined with random freelance work, I'd say I'm grossing close to $60K these days. My liquid net worth also stands around $53K. While it's nothing to sneeze at, I'm still a long way from my goal of getting a house by the end of next year. The car is paid off in 13 months so that will help too.
Anything else exciting? I guess to me there is. I've decided to get back into the sport of bowling. I miss it since my junior high league days. I bought a brand new ball, shoes, accessories, the works. My game totally sucks right now, but I'm trying to practice once or twice a week, either on my lunch break, after work, or on weekends. I've got a LONG line of people that want to go bowling, and I definitely enjoy the company.
Ummmm.... not much else to report. I'm definitely spending less time on the computer at home. It feels kinda weird, but it's a "good" weird. I don't feel so nerdy. Definitely trying to enjoy life a little more.
It's gonna be a hot summer. And I'm going to be older next time I update you. Oh glory. M-kay bye.
