May fared far better than the month before, but nothing too exciting to report, again.

May features several anniversaries, some I dare not mention here, but others such as the 4-year anniversary of working at Ignite. My review should be coming up fairly soon and we'll see where that goes.

Both of my current computers are starting to show their age, which makes me quite anxious to get a new one. The upcoming Mac Pro will let me run Windows and OS X on one machine, so I can actually consolidate! I'm pretty stoked about that. Unfortunately I have to wait until August when it comes out.

I also need a new projector. It bites not to be able to watch movies or play video games, despite how rare that is. But I'll have to drop a G or more to get one, and I'm not quite ready.

I think I'm going to nix the trip to Alaska, in favor of a mini-roadtrip with my folks around the western states. There's always next year to complete the Arctic feat. If I'm feeling ambitious I'll throw Hawaii in there too.

Summer is nearly here, and I can feel it. The anticipation is killing me. Summer Solstice for the win.
