Another brand new year is upon us. Here's hoping it gets better than the years previous. A lot is supposed to be in store.

First off, it's the 10-year anniversary of Joey's Homepage. Ten long years of doing this web garbage. Real nice. It's nice to see how far I've come, and yet how much farther I have to go.

I'm sure work will be picking back up again, now that the December lull has passed. I'll be learning some new web development techniques this year, which will hopefully help me to advance in the 'ol career.

My savings stands at $60,000, which is getting up there, but still far short of what I need for a down payment on... ::shudder:: the HOUSE. It's getting to be that time, ladies and gentlemen. I'll be turning 30 this year and to still be living with the folks doesn't sit real well, so I'll be attempting to jump ship at the tail end of this year. That's only if in fact the house prices here keep coming down as they've been doing.

I'll be experimenting with my secondary career in music this year. Again, I'll keep the details to myself until I'm sure that it will work out for the best.
