More news from the home front. As a result of allegedly superior performance at work, I have been given my 5th promotion in as many years, boosting me to the $50K club, which is exactly double what I made when I first started. This helps greatly with expenses and the future house. w00t!

The big thing on the horizon is my 3rd major roadtrip, which this time will take us to Utah and parts of the Sierra Nevada. We leave on Mother's day and return home shortly before Memorial Day (avoiding the big mad summer dash). The first week is completely planned, but the second week is a little more open, depending on road closures in the Sierra Nevada. I'll let you know how that turns out.
