March was a pretty fulfilling month, with all the holidays, the time change, and whatnot.

I took my 10-day vacation to Texas to see friends and family. I also learned that I could buy my own dream house for a third of the price it is here. It's tempting, I must say. But at the end of the day, my own batch of family and friends on the west side will keep here, at least for now.

Some changes in my department at work have surfaced, but they're actually positive this time. Maybe I won't be such a grumpy curmudgeon now.

My computer migration is drawing to a close, and I should be able to start doing some actual work again by the end of April. It can't come a moment too soon, as I need some extra money thanks to Uncle Sam robbing me of another $2000 in taxes. Grah. Looks like I'll be parting out my old computers and selling off what I can.

I'll be taking another quickie vacation to Cambria near the end of the month. That should be relaxing.
