Half the year... gone. Oof.

Usually June is my slowdown period, but not this time. I've had a non-stop legion of freelance projects, all one after the other. That's in addition to my continuing to play for the church until a permanent position is found.

It's just as well since I was supposed to be playing for a musical, but that fell through. To be honest, I'm not that broken up about it. The savings in gas quickly becomes realized. Of course, the downside is that I still don't get to see any of my friends who live up that way. *sigh*

My sister from Texas is visiting this month so that should be some good times. Otherwise, the only other exciting thing is me getting old. Blah.

Take in the summer. Cause it won't last long!
