Well lookie what we have here... another random surprise update from me!

I've returned to let y'all know that progress toward v9.0 has resumed on this website again (after many, many false starts). The popular .NET Umbraco CMS released their new v10 in June 2022, which I've patiently been waiting for as it not only moves to the latest .NET 6 framework, but it's a long-term release so I don't have to worry about it going defunct for quite a few years.

So I've been migrating everything over from my last stalled project in hopes for an imminent upgrade. The plan is a soft launch in December 2022, with a full launch on January 1, 2023 (you should know me and my New Year fetish by now!). Even if I can't get the legacy Mega Man and Anime pages done by then, I'll have "something" in its place so as not to lose Google positioning. Although with the length of time I've gone without SSL and a mobile-friendly website, current search engine rankings are probably garbage anyway.

Personally, way too many things to catch up on. But after the new site launch, I want to try and get back into monthly journal updates as it will be much easier than manually updating a database like before!

If I'm feeling creative, I may do some intermediary updates between now and v9.0 launch. No promises though!
